Right on, Thomas. I'll join you in Hell. You sound like my kinda guy. Southeast Asia is my beat, so guess what: been there, done that. And your comments about the miserable pay of travel writers, and the need to cut corners, is entirely correct.
Right on, Thomas.

Ermm.. did you cut corners? The world we live in has made me so cyncical about guides, I have used Lonely Planet (as a student), the Time Out, Luxe etc.. but often wonder whether some places have been included because the writer got a free meal there.. I don't know - is that too cynical of me? Surely the writer cant have visited all the restaurants in that town to pick 5 of the best of different price ranges?
You sound like my kinda guy
I was wondering why would travel writers go to hell...ummm..I love sharing travel destinations on my site - so should I pack for hell as well ...errr !
good work cool.........
From where you get the reference ...
a good reference ...: D
I'm just reading that book now. It's fantastic - until halfway through when spelling errors and grammar errors start to take over. Nevertheless, I love it!
I think this is interesting because I always viewed traveling as a positive thing, and saying that travelers go to hell seems ironic to me.
